Tasting of the Bohemian Paradise
We offer accommodation in the Bohemian Paradise, in a newly reconstructed partly timbered cottage for up to 21 people.
Children’s nature trail SEDMIHORKY
From the camp Sedmihorky that is offering its services in the imaginary heart of Bohemian Paradise leads experiential nature trail along tourist marked forest paths and local roads. Route with 16 sensation and instructive stations winds along nature reserve Bažantník and Hruboskalsko.
Castle Valdštejn
Valdštejn is the oldest and one of the most beautiful castles in the Bohemian Paradise. The castle offers programs for families with children, night and costumed tours and other cultural events. Children can take photos in period costumes!
Šťastná země Radvánovice – children’s entertainment complex
This natural children’s area is full of attractions, of which the children seemed only a dream! Swings, trampolines, wooden castle, horse riding etc … During the season, these additional permanent attractions are accompanied by the original supporting program.
Podtrosecká Valley Nature Trail
Pilgrims and cyclists can enjoy canyon valley below the castle ruins. There is a system of eight ponds: Věžák, Nebák, redneck, Krčák, lumps, Rokytnice, Dolský and Podsením. The trail is moderately difficult and the tour takes about two hours.
Museum of Dolls and Teddy Bears under Trosky
A trip to the castle Trosky can be combined with a visit to the museum with an interesting and extensive exhibition, where you can see antique and modern dolls, plush and wooden toys. This unique exhibition includes more than a thousand showpieces.
Trosky castle
Trosky are inseparable dominant feature of the Bohemian Paradise. The castle, of which only ruins are preserved, consists of two towers – Panna and Baba. There arise, therefore, two lookout points from where you can see Prague when the weather is nice.
Lookout Dubecko u Mírové
At a height of 33 meters it will give you a breathtaking panoramic view of the landscape of the Bohemian Paradise, Krkonoše, Jizerské hory, Klokočské skály, Bezděz or Ralsko.
Nature trail Turnov – Hruby Rohozec
It is a chateau educational trail. It leads from Turnov to the chateau Hruby Rohozec. Turnov is sometimes called the town of gemstones. In its surrounding you may find agates, amethyst, onyx, olivine or other precious stones. In Turnovo is this material processed for jewelery.
Castle Rotštejn
In Klokočské skály there is a rock castle Rotštejn. Visitors can admire the interesting rock formations, watch a swordfight and taste the bread.
Dlaskův statek
Currently, there is a permanent exhibition of folk interior and homemade products in Pojizeří, supplemented by temporary exhibitions. Campus courtyard is used during the year for the ethnographic festivals (Masopost, Easter, Midsummer Feast, St. Wenceslas feast).
Humprecht
Hunting lodge Humprecht stands on a hill near the town Sobotka. Families with children can attend a preview tour of the castle or just climb up to the viewing platform, where Bezděz, Ještěd and Krkonoše can be seen when it is a good visibility.
Chateau Hruby Rohozec
In the beautiful surroundings of the Bohemian Paradise on a rock above the river Jizera Rohozec Castle is located. Common tours are spiced up with night, Christmas and costumed tours. There is also an educational trail leading from Turnov to Rohozec Castle.
Castle Kost
Kost Castle is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Bohemian Paradise. During the summer season, there are cultural events, which include knights performances , witches and period artists. Below the castle there is a valley Plakánek.
Nature Trail though Besednické rocks
Nature trail in the Czech Paradise area is focuses on geology. In Besednické rocks you can expect beautiful outviews.
Lookout Kozakov (744 m n. M.)
Since 1995,this iron lookout is standing on Mount Kozákov, the dominant of the Bohemian Paradise in the Semily district. After climbing 124 steps, you have a view of almost a third of the Czech Republic.
Bouček’s farmhouse in Mala Skala
Bouček`s farmhouse is a picturesque two-storey timber, which is a magnificent example of typical folk architecture in Pojizeří.In the building there is an art gallery, an exhibition on the history of Maloskalsko and a stylish restaurant.
Castle Vranov Pantheon
The longest and the most complicated rock castle inthe Czech Republic stands on a steep cliff above the river Jizera. In a folly of the castle tehre is a cafe and a castle gallery. The highest point of the castle offers a beautiful view of the surroundings.
Castle Sychrov
Picturesque castle with a large park, where is in addition to lakes and rare trees hidden also a pretty outlook.The castle is opened all year round.
Tabor (678 m n. M.)
It is a hill located 3 km south of the town of Lomnice nad Popelkou. Originally the hill was called Chlum, the present name originated in Hussite period. Tabor is a popular pilgrimage site. On the top there is a baroque church with a Calvary and Tichánkova lookout. There is also a ski slope and a lot of cross-country trails. for example. Tabor – Klepanda – Nová Paka.
Castle Valečov
Valecov castle, which is partly carved in the rock, is one of the dominants of Bohemian Paradise. Interesting are not only preserved castle premises, but also rock parlors in the woods under the castle. The natural amphitheater in front of the castle held various cultural events.
Riegrova stezka – a trail through the Jizera river valley
The trail, which leads partially in the rock, will lead you along the Jizera River Valley, Nature Reserve River Jizera near Semily and Bítouchov. Reservation is part of a UNESCO Geopark Bohemian Paradise. Not suitable for prams due to rocky terrain.
Castle Návarov
Freely accessible castle ruins Návarov stands high above the confluence of the stream Zlatník with Kamenice river near Zelezny Brod. In the past, the castle used to be the center of a large estate, until now it only the massive ruins of the former palace surrvived.
